Originating from South Africa and based for the past twenty years in London, Gina has extensive global experience, working worldwide to bring cutting edge development to leaders in the UK, across Europe, the Middle East, the U.S., Asia and multiple African countries.
Over her career Gina has managed a career development consultancy in South Africa, acted as a leadership development specialist for PwC London, and directed her own London-based consultancy, Sphere Consulting, since 2002, where she manages a large client base.
She holds several cross-organisational roles that reflect her strong interest in responsible and sustainable business and leadership for the 21st Century. She is Co-Founder and Director of the Global Centre for Conscious Leadership (www.gcfcl.com) and a founding Director of Conscious Capitalism UK Chapter (www.consciouscapitalism.org). She has contributed to a number of books on responsible business and is the author of Becoming a Conscious Leader: How to Lead Successfully in a World that’s Waking Up (http://bit.ly/Be-a-CL)
Gina has a strong interest in developing leaders who are self-aware, emotionally intelligent, tuned into the wider system and clear about their contribution in the world. She enjoys working as much with a leader’s being as she does with their doing. Values, a sense of purpose and being an integrated and authentic leader feature regularly in her coaching work. She frequently coaches in the areas of executive presence, communicating with authority and impact, successful influencing skills, managing stakeholder relationships and politics, and overcoming blockages to self-confidence. In so doing, she helps leaders to ensure that their inner game matches their outer game, and that both are working in unison to their benefit and in support of their aspirations. As a coach, Gina has a keen ability to synthesize and join the dots, which enables clients to look at things from a fresh perspective. She combines insight, challenge and support to cut through whatever might be blocking their effectiveness and to create new beliefs, behaviours and habits. Her clients describe her as intuitive, articulate and warm, yet with a powerful ability to be incisive and help them achieve their goals.
